Repair or Replace?
Clearway Windscreens will always first try to repair your existing windscreen before replacing it with a new one, usually saving you both time and money. The process of injecting windscreen chips with a special resin that is hardened by UV light to give an almost invisible repair and restore the strength of your windscreen. Windscreen repair is usually free, and takes about 30 minutes - and it has environmental benefits too.

How come windscreen repair is free?
Repair is free if you have fully comprehensive motor insurance as cost of a windscreen repair is usually covered by your insurer (some insurers like Tesco have started charging £10 though).

What if I need to replace a windscreen?
Although we always first try to repair any damage to your windscreen, sometimes the damage will mean that the whole windscreen has to be replaced. Clearway use only use glass manufactured to the highest approved standards, whether sourced from original equipment manufacturers or other accredited suppliers, ensuring that the glass we fit is as good as the original piece of glass we are replacing.

Do Clearway Windscreens deal with insurance companies?
Yes we do. If you have fully comprehensive insurance then your vehicle glass is usually covered by your car insurance.

Are the Windscreen & Repair Services guaranteed?
All our work is guaranteed. If any windscreen, side or rear window that we have fitted leaks or fails for any reason (other than those beyond our control) we will rectify the problem free of charge.
