WINDSCREEN CHIP REPAIR
Clearway will always try to repair your existing windscreen before replacing it with a new one, saving you both time and money.
However depending on how large the chip or crack is on your windscreen and where it is located then your windscreen will have to be replaced.
We can repair your windscreen by a process of injecting windscreen chips with a special resin that is hardened by UV light to give an almost invisible repair and restore the strength of your windscreen. Windscreen repair is usually free; it takes about 30 minutes and has environmental benefits.
WINDSCREEN REPLACEMENT
If it's not possible to repair a windscreen then it will have to be replaced. This involves cutting out the old damaged windscreen and installing a new one.
If you have motor insurance with glass cover, all you'll ever have to pay is the excess (as indicated in your insurance policy). If you have no glass cover then the cost will depend on the glass you require.
SIDE WINDOW REPLACEMENT
Side windows are not manufactured the same as your windscreen, therefore unlike windscreens side windows will require replacing if they become damaged.
We source and use glass that is made to the original manufacturer's standards, therefore ensuring that the new glass is as good as the original it replaces.
